H.R. Stoneback is currently a Distinguished Teaching Professor of English at the State University of New York at New Paltz, where he has taught since 1969. He has authored an extensive number of works on Hemingway and other figures and is also a poet and folksinger as well as a former Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at the University of Paris and Peking University.
