Richard Lee Fulgham was born in Germany in 1947. He received his BA in English from the University of Georgia. (1972); MA in American Literature from the University of Kentucky. (1985). He has been a professional newspaper writer and photographer, and has published approximately a dozen articles and stories in national magazines. His books include Appalachian Genesis (Bristol: Overmountain Press, 2000) and The Hogs of Cold Harbor (Philadelphia: Whitmore, 2005).
