  • Richard Stratton

    Richard Stratton is a journalist and screenwriter based in New York City. His most recent book, Altered States of America: Outlaws and Icons, Hitmakers and Hitmen, published by Nation Books in 2005, includes the Rolling Stone interviews with Norman Mailer from 1975, and “Norman Mailer on Pot,” published 30 years later. He is at work on a memoir, Kingpin: A Smuggler’s Tale.
