  • Allen Speed

    Allen Speed was one of a group of aspiring young writers in the early 1980s when he met Norman Mailer and read The Executioners’ Song in one 24-hour straight shot. Having failed to reel in the big novel, he went on do to other work, while continuing to write poetry under this and other names in Able Muse, Literary Bohemian, Chimaera, Yellow Mama, Lucid Rhythms and other publications.
