Melanie Graham, University of Lancaster
Melanie Graham is a poet, artist, and activist completing her PhD at the University of Lancaster, UK, with a creative dissertation concerning women and violence. Her poems have appeared in various journals including Anderbo, The Harvard Summer Review, Sweet, So to Speak as the finalist in their 2010 contest, and The Southeast Review as a finalist in their 2011 contest. She was also a finalist for the Peter Meinke Prize and The Stephen Dunn Prize for Poetry, her poem “Many Happy Returns” was featured at the University of South Florida’s Centre Gallery as a mixed-media remediation in October of 2011.
