Andrew O'Hagan, King’s College London
Andrew O’Hagan is Professor of Creative Writing at King’s College London and a Contributing Editor to the London Review of Books. He writes regularly for The Guardian and the New York Review of Books, and a volume of essays, The Atlantic Ocean, has just been published by Houghlin Mifflin Harcourt. Our Fathers, his debut novel, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. His second novel, Personality, won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction. He won the Los Angeles Times Book Award with his novel Be Near Me. He has also received the E. M. Forster Award from the American Academy of Arts & Letters. His latest novel is The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, and of His Friend Marilyn Monroe. O’Hagan is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
