Editorial Structure

The Mailer Review operates under a clear editorial structure designed to ensure scholarly rigor, transparency, and editorial accountability.

Editor

The Editor has final responsibility for the intellectual direction of the journal and all editorial decisions, including the acceptance and publication of submissions.

Associate Editor

The Associate Editor assists the Editor in managing submissions and coordinating peer review, providing editorial support across sections of the journal.

Book Review Editor

The Book Review Editor oversees the solicitation, review, and editing of book reviews and works closely with reviewers and publishers.

Creative Works Editor

The Creative Works Editor curates original creative submissions and works with authors to prepare accepted pieces for publication.

Editorial Assistant

The Editorial Assistant supports the journal’s production and archival work, including the preparation of back issues and metadata management.

Editorial Responsibility

Final editorial decisions rest with the Editor. Section Editors and Associate Editors make recommendations but do not independently determine publication outcomes.
